I find the care staff and activities staff at Elmswood marvellous and very caring. I enjoy the activities, including going out in van trips. I enjoy the exercise sessions and the mix and mingle time with other residents. Elmswood has given me the opportunity to build a good bond with other residents. I find Fiona at reception very helpful.

Entering our second year in Elmswood, calls for a celebration of our decision to buy our villa in the Village. With a covered pool a short three minute walk from our door, a daily swim is a constant joy. Community activities are held regularly, with the Matariki Dinner a particular highlight. We have achieved a high quality of life, here among the well tended gardens of the Village. On our recommendation, an old school friend and his wife have joined us here, so we have old friends and new acquaintances. A great balance.

I have been a resident at the Elmswood Retirement village for almost 3 years. Widowhood and downsizing are both big challenges but I am happily settled in a very comfortable sunny warm villa. I particularly like that this village is single storey with attractive well maintained gardens and that there are no concerns about property maintenance which is dealt with promptly by the friendly staff. We have a full and varied choice of activities to keep us busy if we wish, which also includes visits to restaurants for lunch and trips to the supermarket.   The super helpful staff always welcome our suggestions or requests. I find Elmswood a welcoming homely environment in which to spend my retirement.
